The 8,500 sq ft RBC branch inside the Hydro Tower is now open bringing life to the south side of Portage. Marcello's, the other retail tenant in the building, has 'coming soon' signs in it windows up but is in the early stages of construction. The tower will have over 40,000 sq ft of retail space available once completed.
That leaves the RBC's temporary location at Portage and Hargrave, a former CIBC, vacant. It's a great space with lots of light. Hopefully someone will be enticed by that.

The former CIBC building will be used by APTN for its Olympic coverage. I don't know if they will use it as a studio afterwards.
Thanks for that ! It would make a great full-time space for APTN. For a tv network that space they have next door is terrible. it looks like the back of a warehouse !
