Central Park Renovation Update!

Central Park's multi-million dollar renovation is coming along nicely.

The Waddell Fountain was returned earlier in the summer, the grass and well-worn furniture is long gone. The crushed stone you see in the photo is the base for the soccer pitch. It will be an artificial turf so that it can be used right up until the snow flies, the stones are required for proper drainage.

The project is moving along nicely, a source says that rain has caused some minor delays in the work. The project is expected to be completed in late Fall 2009.
