Tonight on West End Dumplings - The Radio Edition
 
 I'll talk about a number of buildings and institutions that will be 
celebrating their opening next week in history. Find out which one 
Canadian singing sensation Juliette sang at !
 
 There are
 also a number of sad events, including the Riverview Hotel fire in 
Elmwood that wiped out most of a block of Nairn Avenue. As well, the CBC
 - Carman air disaster which claimed the lives of 6 people, including 
the first Chinese-Canadian to join the RCAF.
 
 In music, hear from Juliette and a couple of musical tributes to the Arlington Bridge, which turns 102 on Thursday !
 
 In coming events, there are FIVE retro movies playing in the city this 
month, plus a number of storytelling events. Tessa and I will have a run
 down of them.
