Pssst ... City of Winnipeg. Lazarenko isn't a councillor anymore.
You may recall that Counc. Lazarenko suffered an aneurysm in the spring of May 2010 and did not seek re-election in the October 2010 election. I'm not sure if the city knows it. His full councilor's website and profile is still on the city site !

Interesting Retro '90s look, though, with the dated graphics and layout.
The current issues page is particularly interesting. Even when it was last updated in 2004, it was still full of woefully outdated lines, such as "Eaton's managed to bail itself out without taxpayers' assistance" (not exactly!) and "Winnipeg will host the 1999 Pan American Games".

BTW, if you want to see something really strange, check out Coun. Harvey Smith's web page. On it, he describes himself as "a seven-day adherent to casual Fridays" with a beard "so long you expect to see the remains of a meal or a small bird in it".
looks like you've given them a bit of a wake-up call. when i tried the link i was informed that it was no longer on the city of winnipeg website.
