Auditorium, the U of W’s Janis Thiessen will talk about the history of
this uniquely Canadian product. It is part of the Skywalk Concert and
Lectures Series.
Thiessen was a guest on my radio show back in
2014 talking about her research into all sorts of tasty Canadian snack

Just listened to the pod from a couple years back. So cool! I love random, nerdy research like this. Wish I could make it to the Cheezies lecture... if you go, will you share the highlights? They are one of my favourite indulgences (though the last time I bought a package and ate most of it, I made the mistake of looking at the nutritionals. Yikes! Trans fats nightmare!).
