It's something that I've been doing for a couple of years now at This Was Manitoba: publishing a Christmas gift guide for the local history buff on your list !
I take a look at notable books and A/V from the past year. I also try to dig around for items for the more discerning history buff. This year's new adds: a giant wall map of 1874 Winnipeg and a limited edition Pierre Berton bow tie !
