Kay Middleton's World War II Holiday Tips and Recipes !

This holiday season I am sharing some holiday entertaining tips and recipes from Katharine 'Kay' Middleton. From 1935 - 1948 she was the Winnipeg Tribune's Home Economics Editor, writing 4,000 "A Page for Winnipeg Homes" columns. She was also featured in the Free Press and had a CKJS radio show.

When you check out the recipes, remember that this was World War II so some required the reduction or substitution of items that were being rationed or no longer available on the shelves.
