Tonight's guests are Jeffrey Thorsteinson of the Winnipeg Architecture Foundation who will talk about his exhibit Civic Modern: Winnipeg’s Civic and Centennial Centre, An Architectural Exploration and Amber McGuckin whose blog Headingley's Heritage is recording the stories of long-time residents.
We'll also talk about Percy Haynes, the Playhouse Theatre (which turns 101) and a number of upcoming heritage-related events, including:
- Black History Month, which has events throughout February
- Heritage Winnipeg's 30th Annual Preservation Awards on February 16th at Union Station
- A viewing of Steamboats on the Prairies on February 25th at Thompson Funeral Chapel
