Dumpling Platter: The Bitches of Wolseley; Attention River East Grads; Titanic to set sail.

Okay, bitches. Let's roll.

A new girl gang in town !
If you saw a lot of pug and b.t. action in Wolseley Sunday morning that was the first annual Wolseley Walk for Wags and Whiskers. It was a joint fundraiser for Craig Street Cats and the Boston Terrier and Pug Rescue of Southern Manitoba.

Above are the trio of gals I was with, two were puppy mill rescues. They finished the short course in style ! The one in the pink is Penny. She's looking for someone to adopt her.

Attention River East Grads !

This year is the 50th anniversary of River East Collegiate. A weekend of activities will be held June 24 - 25, 2011. If you were part of that most exceptional class of 1986 there's a separate event to celebrate the 25th anniversary on September 10, 2011.

Final days of the Titanic.

The Titanic exhibit is scheduled to be in the city until June 26, 2011 then it will sail away !

If you're on the fence about seeing it, remember that next year is the 100th anniversary of her sinking and it could be the last year that the hull will remain intact on the ocean floor due to Halomonas titanicae, a bacteria that is eating away at her steel. Both the anniversary and the collapse will put the ship back in the headlines.

Don't forget, too, that
Titanic: The Manitoba Connection is still on at the Manitoba Museum.
