Central Park

I've written about Central Park before, including here. I couldn't make the open house at Knox earlier this week but the plans sound fantastic

From the CBC story "The five-acres space will be completely redone with an artificial turf soccer field, toddler play area, a toboggan and summer slide hill, and the construction of Winnipeg's largest splash park".

Total bill: $5.6m ($1m of which was contributed by local businessman Gerry Gray).

It's a great space and, thanks in large part to the growing African community, has seen a lot more use in recent years. I can't wait to see it completed !
