Well the Bombers were forced to take to the field and play another game tonight with the same result as the first 3 games of the season ......
.... could we be in for another losing season of Reinboldian proportions ? I hope not.
The only bright spot happened after the final gun - the tribute to the life of Bob Ackles, the B.C. Lions' one-time waterboy who worked himself up to be president and CEO of the club. It was classy, especially to do it after the game rather than jamming it into half time.
The CFL is not a big money league and will never reach outside the relatively tiny sports market of Canada so it relies, more than anything, on people to keep it going. It was nice to take the time and salute him in that style.
